Despite incredible hardship and war, the Christian Church is experiencing incredible growth in the Nuba Mountains. The Nuba, once a place of extreme persecution and bombing of innocents, has become a safe refuge for refugees. As of June 2025, with the armed conflict still raging, close to a million people have fled to the Nuba area.
